I have 120,000 miles on my 2005 F250. I have been running bio here in Phoenix, Arizona from Western States Petroleum since the summer. I had several weeks of running issues that ended last Friday with a dead truck by the side of the road. Dealer replaced the fuel pump and mentioned that the bio had gelled. I limped the truck out of the dealers lot to a gas station and mixed in some regular diesel and the truck ran fine. Please be very careful running bio. If bio can gel in Phoenix it can gel anywhere.

Now ya'll got me concerned- I was running b100 for a while in the summer then poop-canned my supplier for selling dirty stuff. I just bought a full 55 gal tank of b100 yesterday, and it has been dropping to about 40 where I live, and down to 35 on base where I work. I am running a Vormax filter just for a pre pump filter. Should I run the heater lines to it and make it heat the bio?

Put you some in a clear jar and throw it in the frig with a thermometer stuck in it. You will be able to see what the cloud point / gel point is. I know the Howes diesel additive says it's good for up to B20 regarding gelling. There's probably something out there that will go higher but I don't know what it is.

From what I remember your talking about temps near the gel point of B99 so I'd suggest cutting it with some dino.
