Need help with outside temp & compass reading
Ok I feel like a dumb AZZ now !! Long story short filled 04 fx4 with gas the other day and went to reset my trip od. I dont drive the truck too often of late and I held the push button in instead of just pressing once while in the mile mode. after a couple seconds I realized what i was doing so i left off and pressed again now my display shows CAL at the trip odometer and constantly on, the display shows milage and trip with that stupid CAL beside it. I leafed through my owners book and apparently i erased the directional code. then i read something about driving in circles like 5 times. anyway does any one have an idea how to correct this i havent had time to really read up and try it. just thought someone might a have quick lesson on this. HELP thanks guys.

Do like the manual says... find a spot away from power lines, steel buildings, etc. where you can drive a few tight circles and calibrate the compass. It will now be inaccurate until you do, even if you disconnect the battery.
