I'm broke
Just like the title says, I'm broke. Truck spit number six spark plug out today. So any help would be nice!

All auto part stores carry a kit to repair that problem. Maybe like ten bucks, and your runnin again.

yea but what i am hearing the dealer charges like 16 hours of labor for the fix

Those #s reflect a motor tear down. Which does not have to be done.
Not bad, charge someone 16 hrs labor for 20 mins. work.

Like I said on the phone yesterday Ryan...I've never done the helicoil repair myself,since dieseld don't have plugs....but it does seem to be the economical way to go.
By the way...when you called back yesterday,we were at dinner and I didn't have the phone till later when I sent you the text. Sorry I missed the call.

no big deal Mike, James is taking care of me and its supposed to be only four hours of work. So hopefully tomorrow I'm back on the road with the head fixed and a new coil pack on top.
