50's 6 cyl

Does the early OHV 6cyl (in the 50's) have a current 6 cyl bellhousing both pattern, or is it a stand alone, like the Y block? Does anyone know, if it has a unique bellhousing bolt pattern, what is the last year of that bolt pattern? Thank You, Bob

The fifties sixes such as the 223 had there own pattern (round with four bolts instead of the current small block or 300 pattern. Last year for these was 1964.
