Fuse Box

I have seen where people have changed out the whole wiring harness for an aftermarket one, but would it be worth just updating the fuse box? The wiring harness in my donor truck is unmolested and was thinking about just updating the fuse box with the one centech offers. Has anyone done this, or is it really not worth the price and hassel.
Thanks,
Ray

IMO the splicing would be detrimental to the system and a cause a source of future corrosion.

Either all new wiring with aftermarket or an OEM newer upgrade harness depending on what year the truck is would be my choice.

just because the wiring harness looks "unmolested" doesn't mean that everything will work. and even if everything does work, how much longer do you really think it will last?

these stock harnesses are approx. 30 years old, and were only designed to last 10 yrs. or so. if you plan on keeping the truck for any length of time do yourself a favor and do the job correctly the first time.
