The usual problem = Ford 2V carb = bad accelerator pump & check valve.
Symptoms:
Bogging down upon accelerating from a dead stop / Bucking when stepping on the gas at speed.
The fix: New accelerator pump diaphram and check valve. These can be bought separately or with the carb kit.
NOTE: When removing the old diaphragm, use caution...there's a coil spring behind it.
The acc pump diaphram & check valve are located at the front of the carb behind a plate/lever held on with 4 screws.
