New Truck
I brought home my new truck today 2008 F250 Super Duty XLT Sport and yes the V-10. 
I have been watching you guys post and seaching here and the Super Duty forum in making my decision for the last few weeks. When I started looking around about 3 years ago I had decided on a V10. When I started shopping around at local dealers all I could find was 5.4's and diesels. I had almost decided on a 5.4, but after doing some careful research here and luckily finding a V-10 on a lot reasonably close to me, I ultimately decided on the V-10 and dang glad I did. I really look forward to driving it and towing my mudrace truck with it, 7200#'s. Thanks to all the posters here for the valuable information available and I look forward to posting with you.

Congrats on the new truck! I have to be honest, I could not stand the way the '08's looked when they first came out, but they're starting to grow on me now and I keep hintin' to the wife that it's probably time for a new truck. I mean, c'mon, I can barely fit my 3 boys in the ext cab anymore, we're just outgrowing it! haa haa...

I'm working on some pics guys........I don't have a digital camera so I'm shooting up a roll of regular film then having it put on a disc, hopefully to post. Rain has set in here this weekend, so it hasn't been a very photogenic day anyways.
It seems like Ford has always been the leader of a style change in trucks. I remember back in '78 & '79 when the square headlights came out on their trucks, seemed like at first nobody liked them, then suddenly everybody liked them and big three all changed to square headlights for their trucks. The same can be said about when the '97 model year came out. Everybody was kinda starstruck by the new model year and frontend design and didn't know if they liked it or not. Then it suddenly seemed like everybody was wanting one. As for myself on the '08's, I started looking at SuperDutys about three years ago. I came close to buying a '06 about this time last year. I was internet surfing one night and ran across the '08 bodystyle and I loved it ever since.
