my horn is non functional at the steering wheel because the two springloaded tab things are broken off so they do not touch the steering wheel.
my question is, where is the horn relay, or whatever it's called, so that i can hook up a momentary switch to it and install it on the dash so i have a horn.

I believe it's under the dash on the driver's side area. Some trucks had a relay(the ones with cruise control usually) and some did not. If you can ground out the wire and it will blow the horn, then you do have a relay.
