I took all the intake plumbing off. Reaching into the housing and grasping the end nut, it will move up/down ever so slightly. There seems to not be any in/out movement. Is this acceptable?
Reaching in and 'flicking' the turbine wheel, it will spin about two and a half times. I kinda thought it would be more. I started it and standing outside, I turned the key off. I barely had time to take a coup;e of steps to visualize the turbine wheel and it stopped spinning. The engine was not warmed up. This seemed short.
Any thoughts or ideas?

That drove home the MUST DO need for CCV mod. Also the doghouse o-rings do NOT like carb cleaner. A trip to the IH dealer is now in order.
