I have a 1999 F250 Super Duty 2WD... Truck only has 63,000 miles. It does not bother me but just about everybody comments on how loud the engine rattles. I have taken it in to the Dealer and they have listend to it and said it sound like just about all the other 7.3's. I have also takein it to two different transmission shops and asked about the Flex Plate problem and they listend and said they did not think anything was wrong with that? Are some just noisey with nothing being wrong? Or have I missed something?

I would about be willing to bet with yours being a 99, it's also an auto and what some of the torque convertor. I changed mine out because it was rattling so bad.
