I am having a problem. I have a grinding noise and vibration when I turn left. It gets worse the sharper or faster I am turning. I have just replaced both hubs and ball joints. It did this before I replaced this, it went away after and now it is back. I am at a loss. Any help will be great!
Have you checked your exhaust? I had some of the similar problems you are describing when I put on my 4" MBRP system and it was the hanger that is on the CAT. It was hitting the frame everytime I turned left.
we had an excursion in here a while back it the floor pan was actually comming loose. there were some bolts also loose. it would pop under the drivers floor. crazy feeling. anyways like someone else stated id check the body bolts.
I'm not sure how the bearing assy. is on the superduty, but on my 4x4 F-150 there is a caged needle bearing assy that is inside the hub. The bearing supports the axle shaft inside the hub. This bearing is often overlooked when servicing the front end. The problem I had was a grinding noise after/in a turn that would not quit untill you came to a complete stop.
No Cat. I can feel it from the left front, under my feet. It sounds an feels like ginding and increases with the tightness of turn and speed.

Not trying to beat a dead horse but that is exactly how mine sounded and in the exact same place. You may want to just double check your exhaust to make sure it is not hitting anything. If you have a CAT delete, you are still going to have a hanger there to hold the delete pipe. Good luck. I know that when i adjusted mine, it took care of it.
I've had the same noise from the hanger on the cat delete, cut a half inch off the hanger and it went away. I also notice that you are running 285's , if the air dam under the front bumper is missing any clips it may be rubbing there. Athough in the photo it appears to be trimmed on the corner already.
hey greg, check the black fender inside the well, Got the same issue with my truck (we have twins by the way, same color, topper, year, rims ect. Looks good!) any ways the front drivers side tire rubs on the inner wheel well on a sharp turn to the left. Do you notise it too when you back up? sheck for rubbing marks on that black fender though. Im betting you have the same rubbing marks I do.
Let us know what you find out!
i kind of have the same noise i guess but mine is a 07. only on left turns can i hear something. also feel the steering wheel it is tight and a slight unnoticable wobble. have no clue to what it is.

At ont time, after I had work done on it at exhaust manifolds under warrenty. I can not see any evidence now of contact. With wheels turned tight to the left, I have 1 to 1.5 inche of clearance. I also do not have the Cat Delete pipe, I have the MBRP Off Road Kit. I will check my exhast though. Have had it worked on lately for y-pipe and clamp issues. I let you know. It is puzzuling that the exhaust can transate to vibration of grinding it the left front.
