help

I have a 99 Explorer and its been wanted to die red lights. It is shake in and making loud noise.It wont go over 60mph and the car will slow down.If i take my foot off the gas.Then push the gas back down and then it work fine for min. I took it to 2 shops and they put spark pugs in, fix the timing. what should i do next

Try the MAF sensor or the IAC.

Is it throwing a dtc?

Fix the timing? You shouldn't touch the timing. Timing is controlled by the computer.

Did they put wires on it when they did the plugs? Also, check for vacuum leaks at the vacuum tree on the drivers side by the firewall.

Check the fuel filter and pump pressure. This would explain the 60 MPH part of the problem.
