I would like to see a pic of them mounted to, that is the same size I want
The TOYO M/T is a great tire. I had a set of 37x10.50x22's and I had over 30K on them and they still had a good bit of tread left. I had them balanced when I put them on and never had to do it again. They rode great and are an awesome tire. That is why I am getting another set.

Well I stopped by my local tire dealer and he quoted me $255 a tire for the 285/75 18E Toyo MT's. Of course mounting and balancing will run an additional 90.00 dollars. I do want these tires as I don't care for the looks of the stock Continentals with the make belive A/T tread. Now I need to get the wife on board (not likely).
On a side note do you think I could get $400 dollars for 4 used Continentals with 7000 miles on them if I used a classified site like Craigslist.

If you get them would you take a picture for us? I took my stock 18" Cont. off with 5000k on them. I ended up selling them for $200. I put an ad in the paper, thrifty nickel, and on craigs list for $400 with no responses. I sell trees to a lot of landscapers and one of them just bought an 06 like mine. I told him I had them and he bought them real quick. Much cheaper than the $1100 I paid for my BFG ATO. On a side note, how does the tire fitment compare from the 06 to the 08. Can an 08 run a larger tire stock wothout any lift. Good luck with the tires. As for your wife, mine, or any other, It is easier to beg for forgiviness than to ask permission! LOL, Levi

I just remembered this thread from almost a year ago (see below). It has pictures of the Toyo Mt's in the stock 275/70R 18E size with no lift. According to Toyo's website the 275's are 33.6''H X 11.0''W while the 285's are 35.1''H X 11.6''W.
I'll be honest, I'm torn between the 275 vs. 285 as I think the 275's look good too. Also, I would like my speedometer to be accurate and the Toyo 285's have a rev's per mile of 591. According to a previous poster the minimum I can program my PCM to is 600 rpm's.
Good news though, I think I have the wife on board as long as I wait a month or so. I'll post pics when I do something.
Thread from last year.

I think anything is better than the stock Conts. They are a very unagressive AT Tire, at least thats my opinion. Great for cruising the Hwy with a load, but even a dew on the grass and I was putting it in 4 High. I switched to BFG shortly after I bought the truck (5k), and they have been a great tire. We run MTs in the snow without much trouble. They are studded though, and I think a skinnier tire does better, that is why I am interested in this size, they are only like 11.5" wide, and will fit on my stock wheel. For deep snow they should be fine, not sure about ice. I think I will get them siped (spelling???) if possible, rather than studded. I can't wait for my BFG to wear out. Anyone want to $$$ my tires with 25k on them. Good shape and rotated every 5k. LOL Levi
