If you have a gas fridge in your trailer made by norcold you need to check the model and serial number, there was a bunch of them that have a defective gas valve and catch on fire.(I know this first hand) had my father not been checking the tire pressure the trailer (1995 Dutchmen) would be burnt up. when we lit the fridge all of the leaked propane caught on fire.
if you have a norcold go to this web site and check the serial number. http://www.norcold.com/HOME/CUSTOMER...4/Default.aspx
Specific models are : RM2652, RM2662, RM3662, RM2852, RM2862, RM3862, and NDR1062.
Serial numbers 713XXXXX thru 319XXXXX (inclusive).
The serial number, model number, and product number are found inside the coach on the refrigerator doorframe, usually on the hinge side. You have to open the fridge to see it.
If your numbers match - contact a dealer service department and it should be taken care of at no charge.

Thanks guys. Got a Lance slide-in......No 'fires' yet (Thank God), but the dang thing kept turning off (when using the 'gas' choice on the selector switch.......no electrical hookup or generator) when we'd use the gas range.....Just started doing that.....Wolf, have you heard of the Norcolds doing this when you turn on the gas range?.......
It's a bich to deal with, because them things take forever to get cold again......
You may have a bad regulator somewhere in the system, or a frost problem at the LPG bottle valves. The indications you stated point to either low gas pressure in the lines - or the stove is using too much LPG (they have their own regulator in the stovetop).
What happens when either the water heater or the furnace kick on? If it doesn't do it then, it points to a stove problem. Both of those heaters use a high volume of gas.

Ya know, I'll have to check that. It just started the last trip to the outer banks......It was in the 70s and 80s mostly, so didn't use the heater and didn't turn on the water heater either........I'll check though.
Just have to remember to frequently check the frig indicator when you're using 'gas' and make sure it's in the 'green'.......The first time in conked out, used the stove for supper....went to bed not long after that without checking the indicator....then woke up in the morning and noticed the milk wasn't as cold as it should be---the damned frig shut off probably at about 7pm the previous night and had been off all night......Had to restart, but damn, them things take awhile to get-a-coolin'...........
I've gotta admit...when they work, they work well.......Nothing like regular ice cubes in a sippin' whiskey or a martini at the end of the day on the beach........
So - has it been definitely linked to the stove or not?
There are a number of things that can cause a reefer to malf, including bug nests in the burner tube. Low voltage to the electric gas solenoid valve can also do it - you need a minimum of 10.5 volts to open the gas valve. A dirty connection can reduce that voltage also.
There are a few possibilities to look at.
I'm going to assume your ignitor wire (spark wire) has not been messed with.
I'm guessing the stove....That seems to be when it was shutting off.......The ignitor appears to work well......It fired up and got in the 'green' no problem.......All the rest of the stuff you mentioned.....I'll check tomorrow (the camper is kept in Salisbury....parents house).........
Oh yeah.....It's a 2002, BTW.....Lance Lite 815......
