Question Check engine light "flash fix" 06 PSD?

Just went to dealer for a check engine light at 18K on my 06 psd....apparantly fixed by a "software" update....does anyone know exactly what this new flash did [beside eliminate the check engine light?] ?

Thanks!

probably the inductive heating flash. They should have told you what the code was. call and ask. that will let you know whats going on with your truck.

Not sure what it does but the dealer did the same thing to mine at 10k miles. CEL came on, took it in, and they said it needed to be reflashed. Mines an '06 as well. Its been a great truck! On a side note though, 2 weeks after the reflash I had to take it back for a CEL again but it turned out to be an issue related to the turbo...sticking veins...they replaced it with a new one. No more problems to speak of with 21k on the odo. John

more than likely on a 06, the code was a p0460, which is a fuel sender trash code. the reprogram you got, was everything out for your truck.
