do I need a conversion kit??

do I need a conversion kit??

04 f-350 Im going to switch over to the manual locking hubs. I read a write up on here where Mile marker hubs were used, and basically just popped right on in. here is the link written by BFR250SD-Super Duty Automatic to Manual Hub Conversion.doc

When I search vendors to purchase the hubs, they state that I need a conversion kit, along with the hubs. Im a bit confused and looking for some input....thanx...

from 99 to 04 milemarker 449s or warns will go right in no mod required, not sure with the new axel in 06 and beyond

You don't need a conversion kit. Don't buy the Superwinches.

I have a related question-I have a 2002 F-350 DRW w/a dump bed. I'm thinking about switching over to manual hubs but both Mile Marker and Warn say these parts don't work with a dually. What gives? Do I need a conversion kit? or am I just looking up the wrong part #.
