Intermittent lights:
Well, actually two different problems:
First the left headlight does not immediately come on. The right light comes on immediately, but the left light does not come on until 20 to 30 seconds later. Long enough for me to get out and get the hood open, but not much else. I have switched bulbs and the problem does not follow. Of course, this only happens every third day or so. Any ideas?
Second, my marker lights on the inside of the outer 'dually fender' stop working every other day or so. I dig out the compacted snow and find the lights full of water. I have cleaned the corrosion out the best I can, but of course it will keep coming back if I don't keep the water out. The gaskets on the lamp holders look good. I don't want to Mickey-Mouse it with silicon sealent or some such stuff. I have thought about trying some silicon grease. Any ideas?
