When did Ford stop putting the 302v8 and the 351v8 into its trucks? Also was there any difference at all between the 351C and the 351W engines? I'm also having a debate with a friend of mine that Cummins is owned by Ford, I beleive cummins is its own company he believes that ford owns cummins, can anyone give me the truth to this debate? Thanks for your help and input.

The 2001 Explorer was the last vehicle to use the 302. 1997 F-250HD's and F-350's were the last to use the 351W. Yes, there are differences between the 351C and W, somebody more knowledgable than me could explain them. Try posting that question in the 67-79 or 80-86 forum and you might get an answer.

My friend i suggest you go down to your local bookstore and pick up a copy of the "Ford F-Series Owners Bible", written by Moses Ludel. It has been a gateway for me and my knowledge of fords. It not only tells you the differences in engines, but it gives you a list of parts to build a monster.
