2002 Mountaineer CD-6 Question
I have asked this question on the Audio/Video forum and have not gotten any answer.
I have a 2002 Mountaineer with a CD-6 changer. I want to connect an MP3 player directly, not with a flakey FM modulator.
I have done it with my Pontiac Grand Prix with a Factory Single CD unit. The Grand Prix has an Aux Input switch position, but no front connection. The Aux input is for a remote changer or whatever. I purchased a PAC GM-24 interface unit, and built a little box with a cigarette lighter power socket and a 3.5mm stereo jack. It also contains a Preamp to boost the MP3 headphone signal to a more useable input level to the head unit.
I have not found any aftermarket Interface Units for the Ford CD-6.
Is there any Aux Input on the CD-6?
Is there any aftermarket I/F available?
