Heater core?
I started smelling antifreeze in the cab the other day. Took it by a local mechanic and he said it was just leaking not busted yet. Told me to put some stop leak in it. I did it and it seems to have fixed the problem. My question is how do I get the smell out of the vents? By the way it's a '99 f-150.

I don't know of any remedy for the antifreeze smell except to replace the leaking heater core. There are number recent threads on the subject of heater core replacement lately complete with links to instructions on how to do it yourself. Good luck!
