Squirting Coolant From Behind WP

Ok all, 99 Expy 4.6l 2x4. Just replaced my rear air springs, pretty simple job. I also replaced my water pump thinking it was leaking. What brought me to think it was the water pump rather than the hose behind the manifold was the leak I noticed. There is a squirt of coolant just squirting out from behind the water pump underneath the aternator, SQUIRTING. I replaced the water pump and added coolant, guess what the leak is still there. My Question is, could there be a hole in the casting, if so what can I do to seal it? Need Helpppp!!!!!

Just a thought and if memory serves me correctly, I think there is a coolant tube that runs from the back of the engine to the pump underneath the intake manifold that has been a problem on this engine. It would require removal of the intake manifold to correct. But I also think that leak was more evident towards the rear of the engine. It had something to do with internal corrosion or wear of the tube or connector.

Hopefully that is not your problem. You might want to do a search to see if there is anything in the archives that is similiar to your problem.

Like I said, just a thought.
