Don't remind me. I'm broke and have not got anything for my daughters or grandkids. I have one more gift for my wife to do yet.
Less than 2 weeks. That is just stressinng me out man.
I will be probally getting lots of coal this year. The houseis feeling pretty chilly these days.

Bouts is talking 8 days until he gets home to freeze with the rest of us. But since he is 10 hours ahead it might mean 7 days for us because he leaves on Sun. but it is still Sat. over here and then.......................I get a headache trying to figure it out sometimes. Bwhahahaha.

Yes so has so many other dates like Valentines and Easter, Mother & Fathers day. They all become so commercialised that people today really have lost the meaning of those dates.
Sadly a lot of my family do not appreciate gifts that me or my wife make them. They seem to want store bought stuff. For us with cash shortage it would be easier to make gifts. Last year I made christmas tree ornaments for my daughters. This year I think gift certificates from stores is easier for me. They use them to buy clothes.
Sadly most of my family and I don't get along well. We do put our differences a side on Christmas , but there is still tension that just does not make it comfortable. Thats what I get for growing up in a disfunctional family. My wifes Family is different. I really enjoy Christmas there. We really get to visit and socialise and be a family.
But it true the stores get too commercialised and want to make a profit at this time.
