80 F150 Steering Problems
I am restoring an 80 F150 4x4 auto. I got it running and took it out on the road yesterday, and it steers fine on the road, but when you cut the wheel hard left it Very hard to turn. Almost like there is no power steering at all. I've replaced the power steering pump, and it didn't help at all. Any Ideas? Thanks

I would jack it up and see how hard it is to turn the wheels by hand. I have heard of the ball joints rusting and making the steering stiff. Other than that, the steering box is the only thing left.
