well as much as i hate to say this as i really am a die hard its meant to be driven person but it got cold and bessie { the 53 } is breakin' things and developing all sorts of problems . it looks like i am gonna after x-mas start looking for a P.O.S. to drive as with the work schedule and life in general i don't have the time right now to drive and work on her . oh well better to repair now than suffer later i geuss . the master cylinder is leaking fluid , the speedo quit workin' and yep i lubed her up , i got cab mount bushings bad , and maybe some spring hanger bushings goin away , and of course the tranny issue . time to suck it up and get somethin ' else to abuse whilst i fix her . speakin ' of the tranny any of yas got a big 4 speed bellhousing for a flatty ? i'm gonna go to the cast iron giant to fix it permanently . and as a side note the 49 has been dubbed smiley by the 4 year old granddaughter . she thinks it looks like it's smiling . later fellas !!!!!!!!!!!!!
