93 f250 4x4 questions

Have a 93 f250 deisel 4x4 and a few questions.... this is a non turbo, I was wondering what some easy upgrades would be to get a little more power. Truck has 210,000 and the engine sounds good and seems to run well. Next, noticed it may sag a little in the front end. what is the best solution with it being a I-beam? I am putting a plow on it. I'm not sure what the spring code is, but it does say 95A under springs on door label... is the code in the vin?

thanks
Dan

For the power issue, if the injector pump is original and never be replaced put a new/rebuilt one on it, do wonders for it. If it is the original one it is over due.

I had the sagging front end to with a plow, put in "add a leafs", should have just went with new springs. Brought it back up but rides rough. When I get the time I'm pulling the old springs and just putting in new ones. I may use F350 springs once I look into it more.

Yea, mines a F250 with IFS (dual I-beam) and the toe will need to be reset once you replace the springs. Provided it was reset from time to time as it sagged down over time.

Some newer ones have a bushing in the upper ball joint location to give some caster/camber adjustment. Doesn't allow for much adjustment and depends on the model year.

My 94 doesn't have it so I doubt your 93 does. Just be sure not to go to high.

The leafs I added made mine set way to high as bought/installed from the spring shop.

I kept jacking it up and cutting the added leaf down in length, front and back ends, taking 1 to 2 inches off at a time until it set right, plow on and plow off.
