Trouble accelerating!!!!!!
I have an 1984 F150 4x4 and when accelerating up hill and when i shift to fourth gear i lose all power, i have a hard time maitaing 45 mph going up hills, they aren't steep.

Check for an exhaust restriction.

Trouble accelerating!!!!!!
Hook up a vacuum gauge to the intake manifold. Start engine and rev and hold at 2500 rpm. Note reading when rpms settle out. If after a minute or so the vacuum level DROPS with no corresponding change in rpms, then you've got a restriction in your exhaust.
Also do a visual check of your pipes for "Crushes" or "Kinks".
