My truck idles real rough, the idiling stays at about 1000 rpms. Once it warms up some times it will all of a sudden jump up between 2000 and 2500 rpms, then it will go back down and be fine, then all of a sudden it will jump back up.
Sumpin's wrong in your emissions tubing. Vacuam leak is a good guess.
One of the Thermal switches is opening/closing causing the High Idle solenoid to pull up and drop out.
Check all those hard plastic lines for Vacuam problems. Look at the Vacuam tree the front of the Rocker Cover.
