lightning vs. vette

well here it is in a nutshell.I had a 99 vette 6 speed, nice car fast and fun and a mere $46k,as i'm buying my lightning the sales person says after you drive this the vette won't seem like so much fun, i said yeah yeah.Well, the vette is gone and the lightning is still here. These trucks(and i say that with respect, not to be a downer, are great, and a blast.Last weel i ran a 13.2 at 104, the vette in the other lane ran a 13.72,call it what you want.I've had em both and these trucks are great, they handle well, and the bolt on's can add superior power.Mine is no beast, but I am proud of the rear wheel dyno at over 400 rw horsepower.I'm not a vette hater, but I do know where you get the bang for the buck.so be it as it may be, but the svt vehicles are great, and the lightning is faster that an ss or many vettes, drive what you want .i chose power torque and fun over the asthetics of a vette.
