aod-e to aod
I just bought a 1995 f150 4x4 with a bad aod-e. I have an 87 that has an aod with the kick down cable, Has anybody swapped these in?
My other thought was to swap the guts of the two transmissions.
Right now the 1995 only moves in reverse.
I bought the truck thinking it had an e40d, I have two of these ready to go, but when I looked under the truck and saw the aod-e, I have to re-think my options. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks
