Need help ID'ing my Y-block

Just got a pretty nice 56 f100 and the Y block should be a 272ci if original but it's 52yrs old so who knows. The only thing that throws me off if that the dampener has timing marks that read l ' ' ' ' l ' ' ' ' l ' ' ' ' l
tdc 10 20 30 (respectively)

and the P.O.'s timing line is at 21 and that's where it runs best, so what could I have? The motor is spotless so if casting numbers are there I'll crawl it to get them.

Get the casting numbers obviously and we'll be able to identify it.
