Bypassing Glo plug controller
Hello,
Could someone help me with bypassing my glow plug controller on a 1983 6.9 ford 250. I'm not sure where the power relay thing is located or what I should expect to see on one. I've read that you disconnect a purple colored wire from it and run a hot wire connected to a toggle switch in its place, but I'm not sure what I'm doing. Thanks

Check out this page........ http://www.members.shaw.ca/k2pilot/ Definitely NOT a toggle switch only a pushbutton or you or someone else will destroy the GPs in very short order.......5-8 seconds......... longer if below freezing but best pulsed for 5 on ...off for 2 ..then 5 on... start..... you will find what the truck likes. Just do not over do the on time.
