T-Rex billet grill HELP!!!!!!

I just bought a T-Rex billet grill # 20570 for my 04' F250. The instructions say to remove existing grill and cut out most of the center sections....
The only problem is I don't think the grill is going to fit right.. The corners don't line up. The instructions say it for a 99 tru 03 and the web site says it will fit up to an 04'.....
Is the 03' and 04' front grills the same?
I don't want to cut up my grill just to see it doesn't fit....
Any suggestions on a really good looking bolt on Billet grill?

Thanks

Thats what I thought...
It doesn't look like it is going to fit.
I may take it to the local body shop and have them do the cutting.....

If I where going to cut it what type of tool would I use to do the cutting?

Dremel, rotozip, etc... spiral cutting bit goes through them no problem.

The goal is to remove all of the argent portion of the grille and only leave the chrome.

Thanks DCSpecial

I just completed the install....
It looks great.
Surprised how incomplete the instructions are though...
You are VERY correct in the removal of all the gray part to the chrome....
The Billet grill its self is very well made and fits like a glove...

I probably could have done alittle more trimming but, It wasn't fun working in 30 degree weather....

I think a new exhaust is next...

Thanks
for the info

Exhaust install is pretty easy as well.

Helps if you have a sawzall to cut the stocker up to make it easier to remove.

I was looking at the Magnaflow Cat back system...
The all Stainless version...

Any suggestions?

The Speed shop that I buy most of my stuff from says all the Magnaflow stuff is on sale till christmas.... I can get the system for $370.00. He owes me a favor for ordering me a bunch of wrong parts for my 77' Trans Am..

Would deleting the Cat harm anything?

Thanks

For a diesel I assume?

Removing the Cat won't harm the engine in any way.
However, if you are in an area and subject to emission checks it is a federal offense to remove the cat. Also, many dealers will void your warranty for removing the cat.

On some systems you can quickly swap the Cat back in and remove the cat delete pipe for warranty work, emissions stuff, etc... Not sure on the Magnaflow though..

Magnaflow makes very nice systems.
For $370, I'm guessing it's T-409 system. If you live in an area where they use a lot of road salt or are close to salt water, you may still get some surface rust (I know the MBRP T-409 is bad about this...not sure on the Magnaflow).

If it's T-304, that's the best quality on the market and will not rust.

I just ordered a Ford Racing cat-back for my 07 (it's a Borla Exhaust in a Ford Racing box). T-304, all welded hangers and uses band clamps, which IMO are better and cleaner looking than u-bolt style clamps.
