Battery cables

I went to replace the batteries in my truck and the positive cable that goes to the second battery broke off at the terminal. Can you gues recommend one of the sponsers to buy from? Factory cable is $177. Truck is a 99 7.3 F-350, dual battery, single alternator. Thanks Shawn

I would forget Ford, and go to your local "Auto Electric" shop, and just have him make a cable for you. The important thing is to get the correct amount of Copper strand wire.

You cost should be minimal.

Your local Interstate battery warehouse has them. I just replaced mine a couple of weeks ago. the whole positive side from the starter to the batts, and the solenid wire is one assemble from them for like $70 to $80.

Oh BTW, it is a PAIN IN THE A$$ to replace, especially if the new cable is cold and doesn't want to flex much

The local "auto electric" shop wanted $125. Found one at "Standard Battery" for $100. It seems to be very god quality. Thanks all.
