Leaky Water Pump
comming out of store yesterday to find my week old $16 a gallon Shell ELC running across parking lot $ht
hurry home and drain the rest in clean containers and start tearing down,most of my tools are 750 miles away
now an hour and a half wrestling and cussing match with fan nut,but it finally gave up
now a trip to local dealer new pump & thermostat $321,stop by NAPA to get coolant 2 gallons $42
starting back together this is an excelent time to put new grey CPS in,finished this morning and every thing good one more time
while I couldn't detect any play in old pump there was a little whir that is no longer there
only lost 1 1/2 gal of coolant in the whole ordeal
