Yeah, the mods are done while the vehicles are still in Japan, and must be in place before customs will pass the containers through. Once they are sold to the private market, they're an easy task of removing them. This governor is little more than a plate tack welded on the shift tower that limits the vehicle to first and reverse. It takes longer to get the center console apart, than to remove the plate.
about the f150 startiing again, I bet its the same thing I'm trying to figure out.
no spark, new ignition module, clean rotor and cap.
had to replace started cause I fried it trying to get it started.
help,help,help problem was intermittent for about1 or 2 yrs, I know, long time. never figured it out, nowits not starting at all. Everyone I have talked to or asked tried to help, but,now I need serious troubleshooting.

MMMM, probably not. Our trucks do not have the same ignition set up as yours. We have no distributor or module. You might have better luck checking in the forum for your year of truck.
