possible cause
today on the way home from work while on the highway i lost throttle. got the truck going again about 1/4 mile did it again. when i pulled over it stall, and would not restart. i have been in the process of trouble shootin a code P0171 and P0174. have not got a chance to test fuel pressure await gauge to arive in mail. no vacuum leaks, IAC check, TPS checked any other clues?

How did you eliminate vacuum leaks as a possible culprit?

up date of situation i just replace fuel pump and after about 10-15 miles the check engine light went out. funny thing is the engine ran fine and pressure for fuel was with in range on low side. but yesterday i was on highway and completely lost throttle. stalled and would not restart.this lead me to fuel pump.
so now all is well. after some time trying to track down source.
