MSD Ignition

I have read some posts on this but am still a little
unsure of what I need. I have a 93 EFI, my confusion is with
the TFI coil and harness kit, will these hook up to my system?
I plan to use the MSD-6A. Also will the Accel post type cap
fit on my distributer? Thanks guys.

As far as I know, the TFI coil hooks right up. You might want to try calling a carparts.com rep if you don't get the useful help you need. They should be able to help you.

Thanks GT221. What MSD did you use? Is it a straight
foward hook-up? How about coil, wires and cap, any suggestions?

I got the 6A box and TFI coil with wiring, no brainer.

Thanks again GT for the info. I did buy the 6A, TFI coil, wiring harness and plug wires. It is a no brainer install, about an hour. I also bought an electric fan that I will install after evaluating the ignition mods. Thinking about a chip also . BTW nice looking truck.

Where'd you get the fan from? I'm interested in getting an fan too and am curious how you like it.

GT, I bought a Permacool. It is the 16 inch highperformance. I could have saved a few bucks somewhere else, but deceided to order it all at once with my ignition. I also orderd the optional adjustible thermostat that plugs into the drain hole on the radiator, which went backorder, so I havn't installed it yet. I want to evaluate my ignition mod for awhile anyway. I'll post the outcome of these mods after I evaluate them.
