Love the new sound. Cost 75$ to have it removed and an new straight pipe welded in. Ill try to be aware of the feeling it gives me as far as weather or not is seems more responsive in terms less turbo lag, and also EGTs.
Get rid of the cat and you'll really love the sound and whistle.
Cant find a muffler shop that will take it off for me. I did get a price for doing a 4" turbo back, that leaves the cat in place. It was 675$. How does that sound price wise?

Sounds about right.
It was too much for me so I went with a gutted kitty. Some day I'll splurge and buy a downpipe and straight pipe it(don't need to smog check where I'm at).
I doubt it will make enough difference to justify the cost though.
Order a Cat delete pie and do it yourself. I did for $54. Can tell a little better response and love the turbo sound. Still have muff in place. Mileage increase was slight.
