Idle still jumps
Well I replaced the egr solenoid yesterday, haven't gotten around to putting on the throttle position sensor. My idle still goes up and down, I'm also considering replacing the air idle bypass valve. Any other ideas on what this might be, by the way it's a 95 F150 with a 302 auto. Thanks

check the ACT (air charge temperature sensor)its in the intake somewhere. pull it out, if it is covered with gunk, replace it, they're like 16 bucks at advance auto parts. and the TPS is not mounted with phillips head screws. they look like it, but it is actually pozidrive, and they have an adhesive on the threads. be careful when removing it because a phillips screwdriver can strip the head. Ford had a TSB about this in the early 90's.

Get a vacuum guage and test your lines and your EGR function.
