Paint Codes
Okay, so I have my paint code that I want to paint the new truck. Where is the best place to see the colors the codes actually give. I need a paint code decoder and view of the color. Thanks for the help guys. Oh yeah, the new truck will be paint code LE. Should be Royal Blue metallic.

Duck, go to any body shop. They will have books with the codes and matching paint chips. That is the best place that I have found to actually see what the paint looks like. They may also make suggestions. I have a buddy that has a body shop and he lets me use his equipment on the weekends (booth, guns, DA's, buffers, etc.). When I repainted my truck we looked up the orginal paint code (dark green but I forget the code) and then he suggested that we look at a Dupont semi metallic in the same color range (I liked the orginal color). We found a Dupont that was one shade darker with metalic. Thats what I painted my truck with and I like it alot. I have the Dupont color code in my truck so if I ever need to repaint it I can tell any body shop the Dupont code and they can match it. Hope this helps some.
