I have a E350 Custom Van. It has a 7.3L, aftermarket turbo with Gear vender OD. Love the van.
My question is sometimes when I am (cold) starting the van the glow plug light comes on just for a second and shuts off and I hear a clicking noise. Is this the reley? It does not happen all of the time. Just once and awhile. Especially if the truck has been sitting for a few days. I drive it weekly. (Had to cut back with Diesel prices, anyway that is another story.) Any help is greatly appreciated.
check the glow plugs and wiring. my 91 7.3 clicked and wouldnt start and i found the wiring to the glow plugs was shot. replaced the wiring and no more clicking and starts right up.
Thanks for the info. I will check it out. It is weird. It doesn't happen all the time.
