My experience says your headed for a tranny shop. Mine started this about 95000. Went to a tranny shop that I have alot of faith in and was told you can "drive it as long as you want but your looking at a rebuild". I took it to ford hoping warranty would cover it. no deal. They flushed and filled and added snake oil to the tune of about $150. No difference.
Talked to brian at BTS and decided to put in a new valve body. Was better for a while but still hand to rebuild the tranny with in a few months.
PS My independent tranny shop is usually about a third cheaper than a Ford Dealer.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I see you're in Nebraska, who's your tranny shop?
sorry so slow to respond. My email host added a new spam filter and i miss emails. I've been happy with BGS in Hastings. Ironically, just today I lost my overdrive and heated her up some so "she's" going back in tomorrow.
