Bell Housing bolt pattern

I am looking for another C6 to rebuild for my 84 F250 with a 6.9 liter engine. I know there is an adapter plate bolted between the tranny and engine block. My question is, does the 6.9/ 7.3 diesels use a different bolt pattern on the bell housing than all of the gas motors Ford used?

That's what I was afraid of, I wonder how much fun it's gonna be to find one for a 4wd.

The case is the same as 2 wd. diesel ,just the output shaft is different. Gas or diesel wont matter there.
