Grinding

I get a grinding sound when turning hard to the left slowly, sounds like brakes medal on medal. Any idea? I'd say brakes off hand but any other ideas? Just in case.

What size tires do you have? My tires rub on the trailing arm at full left turn, you could have the same problem (although it doesn't really sound like metal on metal). Other than that I would check to make sure your hubs are unlocked.

Have your balljoints checked out. My truck made this same sound when the ball joints went bad. There is a good write up in the tech folder if you want to do the work yourself.

Did you find what the problem was?
