leveling kits

I wanted to get some idea's on a leveling kit for my truck. Is a new leaf pack better then an ad a leaf kit. Just wanted to get other peoples feelings on the differant kits. Hate to buy the wrong one. Also I have a set of springs from a 04 f-350, will that give me some lift, or just waist my time putting them in.

thanks, chris

99 f-250 4/4 cc sb 140,000 mil stock except for wicked wheel and 285 tires

I had rough country springs on my truck for 18 months, and within 9 months the left spring started sagging, and by the time 18 months rolled around, the left side sagged back down to stock while the right one didn't sag. I went with Dick Cepek springs because i caught an awesome deal on Ebay for $200 for just the springs, i didn't need anything else.

I did pro comp full leaf leveling kit ( Es 9000 shocks and steering stabilizer). Seams to ride nice but on a f250 you need f350 blocks for the rear (my opnion) to make it look really nice (rear looks to low without). The front bolts were a bitch to remove on the factory springs but all in all worth the trouble. I will say this I noticed a 1 inch difference from side to side so i am waiting for a reply to see if thats normal. If not I have no problem thinking 4 wheel parts will make it right.

thanks for the info guys. Sounds like the 350 blocks for the rear are a good idea. Now i need to get bigger tires also.
