P0401 Second time in two months
So twice now in two months i have gottin this code, im sure you all know what it is. I borrowed a friends OBD2 reader to just find out why my CEL was on, then i found out why.
Stupid EGR ..
..
NOW should i just get rid of the EGR all together or clean it, get a new one or what? I want to get the Xcall3... will that make a difference if i have the EGR Removed and the block off installed? Or if i dont do anything to the EGR, will that code keep coming up, change my programs or what?
Help me out guys ...

If I was in this scenario I would first put the stocker on, clear the cel and then see if it returns. Now, if you've got the money and time then of course install the block off plate and/or weld the valve shut. turning the egr off via custom tunes is not the same as installing the block off plate. turning it off could possibly hinder performance and boost numbers, from what I've read. I think when it is off it causes the gases to get built up in the cooler and we know those things are worthless/pointless. mine is off though.
