have never had a problem with truck. it has 144k mi. and well taken care of, has a 5.4. have already done all the obvious and then some. any suggestions would be much aprechiated.

 

First check for codes or pending codes.

If you can't do that clean your MAF sensor and check your IAC valve.

Also, you may have a plugged catalytic converter. Disconnect your exhaust at the Y-pipe and take the truck for a spin to see if it doesn't run better.

 

thats where it all started, insufient egr flow. cat is removed already, will reinstall later. it is running so bad at times I pulled another code, missfire on #3. thats when I changed all coils, plugs. what should maf flow at idle & wot.
