brake over boosted

brake over boosted
I have a 72 f-100 that was origanally a manual 4 wheel drum, I used a booster and master cyl from a 70 truck with a 390 (mine is a 302) now everything works but I am way over boosted (very touchy brakes) any ideas?

I suspect you have a MS for disk brakes which deliver a lot more volume. If you did not convert to disk brakes you need to use your original master cylinder. Which will not connect to a power brake booster requires a different MS.

thanks this is possible , I've also found a great site that suggested I have my brake rod in the wrong position giving to much leverage.
