Flickering Cab Lights

Last night, for no apparent reason, all the lights in the cab started to slightly flicker. The battery meter on the dash was also bouncing back and worth. It would do all this during low RPMs. I'm thinking alternator, but I need smarter advice.

It's 95 F-150, 81,000 miles.

it could be your alternator, weaker battery, low rpm, depends on how many ligths and electrical devinces you have runnign at once

All I have is the stock equipment (AM & FM!), nothing extrordanary. I hate to take a wait and see approach, but I think I'll have to. Sorry, can't make it to work today, truck broke down.
