I have 94 B4000 4x4 5spd standard. The battery and starter are a year old and seem to be working great. It has no problems cranking, however it just won't completely 'turn over' (turn on).
A new clutch was put in about 3 years ago. When I step on the clutch, sometimes it cranks, sometimes it doesn't. Is there an electrical switch somewhere on the clutch, an electrical fuel pump? It seems like it's something electrical. I played with a few wires and it started the other day and today I messed with the same wires and it's not turning over. Also at times it will be running idle with the engine already warm and it will just die out.
The clutch pedal position switch, if acting out, will cause a no crank situation, as it's closed switch feeds power to the PCM & Starter Motor Relay Solenoid.
Well I don't rightly know, as all my rides are auto tranny.
If you don't get any replies from site members, that shift for themselves, or don't have a repair manual or CD, maybe consider checking one out, at your local library, or buy one at your favorite auoparts store, or even check out AutoZones online "parts location" in their repair section, maybe it's listed there.
I'd imagine you'd likely find the clutch pedal switch, located under dash, on the clutch pedal support structure, probably close to it's piviot point.
